Horizons has a pool of highly skilled administrative assistants who we can draw on for data entry, developing spreadsheets and databases, and formatting reports.

Cynthia Keizer

Born in Grand Falls, Newfoundland, Cynthia now resides in Lower Sackville in Nova Scotia with her husband and children. She is a US Payroll Manager with ADP (Automatic Data Processing, Inc.), and enjoys reading, walking, and house cleaning in her spare time.

Erin Wolfe

Erin was born and raised on the South Shore in Liverpool, and moved to Kentville in 2008 to attend NSCC where she studied Tourism Management and then Office Administration. She currently works as an Administrative Assistant at Dr. Nette & Dr. Hennessy's Dental Office in Wolfville. In her spare time, Erin enjoys coaching the Horton High School Cheerleading team, photography, and spending time with family and friends.

Helen Woodward

Originally from South West England, Helen moved to Canada in 2002 and currently resides in the beautiful Gaspereau Valley.  Being the owner of Equilibrium Business Services fills her days, but she makes time to be involved with the Deep Roots Festival each year in Wolfville and participates in fundraising events for the Wolfville Farmers Market. Helen loves to spend time outside with her puppies, Belle and Merlin.

Josephine McDonald

Josephine McDonald originates from Newfoundland and is a member of the Miawpukek Band in Conne River.  She currently resides in Lower Sackville where she is the proud mom of five-year-old Sophie, and operates an approved home-based daycare centre.   Josephine has worked with Horizons for a number of years and has been facilitating the Spring Into Action Challenge for the last two years.

Shannon MacLean

Shannon MacLean is the Nova Scotia Coordinator of the Business Alliance of Local Living Economies (BALLE).  Originally hailing from Cape Breton, Shannon moved to the Annapolis Valley to attend Acadia University and decided to call the Valley home. Shannon also sits on the board of directors of the Wolfville Community Fund where she works with a team of dedicated individuals toward the alleviation of child poverty in the area.
