Addressing Youth Violence

AYVI is the second phase of a two phase project. In the first phase, Sharing Strengths worked in partnership with the Child and Youth Intersectoral Working Group (CYIWG) to develop a research-based comprehensive intervention for addressing violence among youth in grades 6-9 in Western Nova Scotia. The intervention was designed in consultation with stakeholders from across the region.

The second phase of the AYVI is focused on implementation. We are currently negotiating with funders and communities to obtain the necessary supports for implementing the intervention in Western Nova Scotia communities.
