Nova Scotia Department of Health Promotion and Protection - Strategic Framework to Address Suicide in Nova Scotia (2006)

Horizons worked with the Nova Scotia Department of Health Promotion and Protection and an intersectoral provincial Steering Committee to re-draft a strategic framework to address suicide in this province. This work involved completing a best practice literature review, intervewing key informants and researchers about their strategies and work, conducting consultation sessions with a range of key stakeholder groups across the province, conducting a web survey, updating a draft logic model, revising a draft suicide prevention strategy, and launching the final strategic framework with stakeholders.
