Municipality of East Hants – Evaluation of Hants North Active School Communities Initiative

In October 2005, we completed an evaluation of the Hants North Active School Communities Initiative (a local school/community physical activity project). For this evaluation, we developed the data collection protocols (surveys and focus groups), worked with local stakeholders to collect the evaluation data, analyzed the data, and completed a final evaluation report. The local Steering Committee is currently using the evaluation results to make program revisions and provide indicators of program impact to its provincial funders.
